Trademark Registration in India – Process, Benefits, Eligibility & Fees

Introduction

A trademark is not just a logo or symbol—it’s the identity of your brand in the market. It protects the name, reputation, and goodwill that your business builds over time. In India, trademarks are governed by the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and registration gives your brand exclusive rights to use a specific symbol, word, or design to distinguish your goods or services from others.

Registering a trademark not only protects your intellectual property but also prevents unauthorized usage and helps in brand building across markets.
